I just had occasion to hear the representative of Norwalk make a point about the "heating up" issue. She said it is often a matter of just changing out the grater screen to one with different size holes ( i can't recall if she said larger or smaller holes, I think larger).
At any rate the machine comes with 3 grater screens so just try a different one than the one you have in there if you are getting heat. Hope this helps. I saw this machine in action and it does make a rich, beautiful juice with no foam.
