I just bought the Juiceman last winter and it is a great intro juicer. I read some of the other reviews and I haven't had the same problems as them. Maybe they are too hard on it?
I tend to take care of the things I own and treat them gently. I've had it for about 9 months and in that time I've juiced about 4 times a week with it.
I do a mix of fruits and vegetables and it handles both pretty well. I like the fact that it looks good on my counter. I didn't want a white one because they stain and look bad.
I can't compare it to anything else because this is the first juicer I've owned but for a hundred dollars I feel like I've already gotten my money out of it. It does leave some moisture in the leftover pulp and I imagine more expensive juicers wouldn't have that problem, but I didn't want to spend so much when I was just trying juicing out for the first time.
I'll keep this Juiceman juicer until it wears out and then try something more expensive. In the meantime I keep juicing with it and it keeps running so I'm happy.
