Here at www.thebestjuicerreviews.com you'll find independent and objective reviews for all of the top juicer brands available, as well as the lesser known brands.
Our reviews are objective because that's all we do! We're a reviews site not a juicer shop. We don't sell juicers here. The reason we don't sell juicers is because it's not possible to be objective about a product and sell it at the same time.
We started our little juicer reviews site because we noticed how hard it was to find objective reviews. There are the two big guys of course, consumersearch and amazon. With user submitted reviews sometimes numbering in the hundreds, they've got a lot of great information!
On the other end of the spectrum there are many juicer reviews that are attached to online businesses who make a living selling juicers. We felt that maybe there was too much of an overlap there. It seemed like a conflict of interest for the salesmen to be doing reviews. Alot of those sites felt commercial to us, like they were reading a specs sheet off the box when they wrote their review.
So we decided to start our little site, sharing real reviews of juicers. Our review process is similar to consumersearch.com. We read through hundreds of reviews. Then we find owners of each juicer model and ask them a ton of questions about their experiences. As often as possible we do test runs with each of the juicer models. Then we gather all that information and write our review.
It saves time for you. What we found on the big dog sites is that there were hundreds of user reviews. It can take a few days just to read them all, taking notes the whole time to see what issues pop up over and over again. Most folks wanting to buy a juicer don't have time for all that. So we do the legwork for you. We spend several days researching each juicer model before we start writing our juicer reviews for it.
We're different from Consumer Search as well. We just write about juicers. They write about everything! Since all we focus on are juicers and juicing we're able to do a much more thorough and elaborate review for each juicer we study.
So why juicers and what makes us expert enough to write about them? The reason we chose juicers is because of our background. I'm Tanja and I do the reviews and my sweet darling other half is Patrick who does all of the health benefits of juicing pages.
We're both health nuts. I've been vegetarian for 14 years and Patrick has been vegetarian for 16 years. We're bizarre creatures compared to the average American public. Between the both of us we love every fruit and veggie out there!
We've both also worked in the health food industry for about a billion years. Patrick's worked in it longer, since 1996, and me since 2001. Oh yeah, and Patrick happens to be a Certified Nutritional Consultant who has helped thousands of people over the years. That's why he gets to write the health benefits of juice pages. All that experience adds up. He's managed a GNC and managed the supplements departments of two large health food stores. Folks most recently could find him working at Ozark Natural Foods Co-op in Fayetteville, Arkansas where he worked as the on-staff Nutritional Consultant for many years. They were sorry to see him go recently when we moved to sunny Florida and decided to make our websites a full-time job. He still gets emails from clients there with health questions they can't find the answer to, and he still offers his consulting services here in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.
And then there's me. I've done it all at health food stores, from cashiering to being a product buyer to managing folks and handling customer service. Most recently I was the editor of our co-ops newsletter that went out to 6,000 folks a month. I also did graphic design for the co-op and have been a health and beauty aids demo rep for Aubrey Organics, Tropical Oasis, Rainbow Light, and my favorite Aloe Life.
So as you can see, we take this health food thing pretty seriously. We love good food, we love healthy food, we love fresh squeezed juice, and we love community! That's why we started our little juicer reviews site.
It gives us the perfect opportunity to share our knowledge with others and promote an incredibly healthy practice. Our goal is to get just one more person juicing on a regular basis, and then another, and then another. Juicing really can change a persons life, and if we can inspire one person to give it a shot and it helps them, we'll feel that our job is done.
So now that we've covered why we started our juicer reviews website and what credentials we have to run it, we're going to share our review process.
We offer a main review of each juicer model. It covers ease of use, juicing performance and durability. We also offer consumer reviews and user reviews where folks can write their own. That rounds out the perspective nicely.
We start of each page with a quick overview of each juicer model, then move right into a detailed overview of the ease of use, then the performance and finally the durability. At the end we summarize who the juicer is best for and give our overall rating. If it scores high enough we give it one of our Top Choice Awards, which is basically saying it's one of our top picks in it's price range category. If it scores terribly we hand out our Don't Buy Warning. The warning is typically reserved for juicers that have serious durability issues and rampant complaints of motor failure or parts failure.
Then we offer links on each juicer reviews page that take you straight to the best deals on the internet for that particular juicer brand and model. So once you've read through all of the reviews and come to your final decision, you can easily find places to buy it at the lowest prices on the internet.
That basically sums up our juicer reviews format. We chose this format after months of research into what makes a good review page. We wanted to provide consistency with each review so you could easily make a decision instead of comparing apples to oranges with each review. We were disheartened to find haphazard reviews where a juicers durability was mentioned on one review and then no mention was made of durability on another review. We thought long and hard about what makes a good juicer for us before deciding to focus on the three categories of ease of use, performance, and durability.
To us they are the most important factors. If it's not easy to get out make a glass of fresh juice, clean it up and put it away again, you won't end up using it for long. If it doesn't juice what you want (like greens, citrus, soft fruit, wheatgrass, or ginger) you'll be looking for another model that does. If it breaks down quickly and the manufacturer won't fix it because there aren't replacement parts available, you'll be looking at a big chunk of metal and plastic that no longer does its job.
We've learned the important factors of a juicer through years of juicing. I started as a teenager, carrying 25 pound bags of carrots home each week and whipping up simple carrot, beet, ginger juices with my momma on a teeny, tiny little kitchenaid juicer where half the juice would end up in the pulp! Now many years later Patrick and I want to share our bits of wisdom with you, so you can make the right choice and get a juicer model that fits you, your family and your lifestyle the best. Whether it's a $30 basic centrifugal juicer model or a top of the line hydraulic press Norwalk, or anywhere in between, by the time you're finished here at the best juicer reviews, you'll be picking out the perfect juicer for you.
So it's time to get started. All of our juicer reviews are arranged by brand name in our left hand navigation column. Just click any of the models to get started, and soon you'll be on your way to happy juicing!
