I don't know. They call it the breville "compact" juicer but there's not much that's compact about it. It's actually pretty big. That's my only complaint about it. I thought it would be smaller and fit in on my countertop better. Instead I hide it under the sink when I'm not using it. That's a minor gripe though.
As far as how it juices. Wow! This thing is pretty dang cool. It's quite strong. My other juicer was the Hamilton Bigmouth and it doesn't have nearly as much power as this thing. I like that it has 700 hp in the motor. It makes me feel like I can juice a carrot without blowing the whole thing up. Sometimes my Hamilton would sound like it was struggling when I juiced hard vegetables, until I finally blew it up one day when I was doing that! That's why I bought a new one in the first place and decided to give the Breville brand a shot.
One thing about it though. The bit about it juicing whole apples isn't really true unless you get your apples from munchkinland. I was hoping it would be able to juice more with less cutting than my Hamilton bigmouth. On that count they're about even. If you buy it, just be prepared for some chopping. I haven't found an apple yet that I didn't have to cut into half or quarters depending on its size. It's still a good juicer though, even with the chopping.
Overall. I give it an 8 out of 10. Its strong, it juices well, it cleans up quick and it looks pretty sharp. The only downsides. Its not so small and I still have to chop.
