I had the older version of this Breville juicer the je900. I really liked it and overlooked some of its issues. The issues were that sometimes the engine was too strong and it wouldn't juice things thoroughly. I'd find half-juiced chunks in the pulp and have to run them through the juicer again.
Overall I liked it though, so when it went kaput (motor issues) I bought it again. The model number changed to the je95xl and they added a two speed to it. Wow! Who new two speeds could make such a difference!
Now when I'm juicing I can choose which speed to use depending on whether or not its a hard thing or a soft thing. Everything gets juiced! No more digging chunks out of the pulp bin which was a minor annoyance.
My last one lasted around 3 years so I figure I'll get that much life out of this one too. I think it's worth it. That's like $50 a year. Not bad!
