I own an Angel juicer and I love it, by the way i own 2 angels I keep one in Brazil and another in New York as I live in both places...In my opinion angel is one of the best juicer for a non comercial use...I drink lots of green juices daily and im so happy with my angel , i just sold my angel 5500 to buy the new model 8500...I could afford to buy the Norwalk but as i saw it in a few green juices bars here in NY , it didnt seem to easy to use it but instead the angel is extremelly easy to clean it up, i do not use even soap if i clean right the way :)... Im very happy with my angel ...
I just eat raw food so a good juicer is very important in my diet...
I hope my review can help someone xx

Testing Results for the Norwalk Juicer by: Tanja from The Best Juicer Reviews
There appears to be some heat generating in this part of the reviews section. I've already commented once that we (Tanja and Patrick, the folks who run this hobby site) appreciate diverse views, and views that differ from our own, and so Max's opinion, while perhaps coming across somewhat harshly, still reflects that beautiful diversity that comes from sharing opinions.
It is best of course if any name-calling is kept to a minimum. Max evidently felt strongly that our opinion of the Norwalk is incorrect. Christine evidently felt strongly in opposition of Max's opinion.
So from now on, how about we drop the strong words and get some more reviews on here! We do this site for fun, because we like to juice. We don't make a lot of money with it. Enough to cover hosting and buy an occasional juicing book. So there's no reason for us to make an unbiased review. We're not in the "deep pockets" of Norwalk.
It's our opinion that the Norwalk is an excellent juicer. Others are free to disagree (without name-calling). It's not my ideal juicer though. For me it's the inexpensive Omega 8006. That's because I want easy cleanup.
Here's a link to the information about the Norwalk juice extractors capabilities including a comparison of nutrient extraction between the Norwalk and two unnamed models.
Max, if you have a link to share about the angel comparison test, we would love to see it.
In the meantime, Happy Juicing Everyone! -Tanja

Stop Flaming People! by: Samantha Jackson
Wow. You all are getting out of hand here. I looked back at the original review posted by the website and they don't say anything about comparing it to a Super Angel. In fact, they don't say anything about the Super Angel or any other juicer that costs $1,000.
They compared it to juicers from $250 to $400 and to "cheaper models" which I would assume means the $50 ones like the Hamilton and Waring models.
Max and Christine, you both sound like you need some kava. Cool it people!

you sound biased max by: Christine
You say she sounds biased. From your review of the norwalk YOU sound biased. It sounds like you're trying to sell people on this super angel. I would almost make a bet that you sell the angel juicer and that's why you say its better than the norwalk.
You don't even say if you've used the norwalk. You just throw out some statistics about a supposed test that shows the angel is almost as good as the norwalk. I'd need to see a link to an independent study before I'd believe you. You sound inflammatory and rude dude.
I don't even own the norwalk but you pissed me off. What I have done is worked at a cafe that used the norwalk. It was steady and handled the bulk load of daily juicing on a commercial level and the pulp had NO liquid left in it at all. Not even my green star has pulp that dry and its a six hundred dollar juicer.
I have juiced for a long time and I've never even heard of the angel juicer. So how awesome is this angel if no one even knows about it?

Differing Opinions Welcomed! by: Tanja
Hi Max,
Thank you for sharing your opinion about the Norwalk juice yield vs. the juice yield of other models.
While some websites may not have printed your opinion (because it does call the reviewer,me, biased and uniformed) we like to do things differently here.
In fact, differences of opinion can be strong, especially when it's a subject matter that lots of folks (me included) are passionate about.
That's why we ask for independent reviews from our readers. It rounds out the picture. You'd be surprised how many of our friends have lit into us for our scathing review of the Jack Lalanne juicer series! They love the Lalanne line and can't believe we gave it such a low rating.
We strive to be objective in our reviews. Each review is based on studying numerous customer experiences in forums, other review websites like amazon, consumer reports, etc... and with hands on experience whenever possible. However, for every person who tries out a juicer, they'll have a different opinion than the person next door.
The Norwalk isn't for everyone. It's heavy, bulky, clumsy, and quite expensive. But, I've never seen pulp come out of a juicer as dry as out of a Norwalk. Just my 2 cents.
I haven't gotten my hands on an Angel yet. I know I will soon, then I'll be able to review it as well. I've heard good things about them, and can see why you're a fan of that brand.
Soooo, in the end, thank you for sharing!
p.s. Want to do a review of the Angel juicer? We'd love to read it!
