Acme Juicerator Juice Extractor Juicer Review : I have been juicing my way to great health with the Acme Juicerator Juice Extractor for several years now, and just love it. I can’t express strongly enough how this juicer has contributed to my current great health.

I had a fancier, more expensive juicer in previous years, which regularly had problems, and eventually just stopped working. I have never once had a problem with the Acme Juicerator and it works just as well today as the day I bought it. I don’t know much about juicers, but I can highly recommend the Juicerator based on my very positive experience with it.

To start with, it’s a heavy machine. You’d think, looking at the outer plastic casing, that it’s a flimsy machine. But based on the weight of the machine (nice and heavy), and the fact that it juices very quickly, and thoroughly (the pulp left over inside is completely dry), I’m convinced that it’s a high quality motor.

It’s very easy to clean. This machine is as simple as it gets. One simple twist and the top is off, another twist of a knob inside and the pulp container is out. It’s very easy to wash and reassemble. I would say I use it about 5 times a week, and I would have expected the inside stainless steel blade to dull by now, but it’s still as sharp as ever.

The left over pulp is like a fine mash, with all liquid squeezed out. I’ve juiced a wide variety of fruit and vegetables (i.e. citrus, spinach, carrots), and have consistently had positive results.

Okay, so those are the great points about this juicer. The less so great point? Well, it’s true that a machine coming in contact with colorful vegetables would be more practical in stainless steel. The white plastic casing does eventually stain a little (only inside), which might bother some people. From my point of view, the low price point more than makes up for this.

The inside parts that are the most important (the blade disc, pulp container and inner machine) are all metal. It’s only the outer casing and juice funnel that are made of plastic (though don’t worry- it’s a hard durable plastic). This is a sturdy machine I would highly recommend.
